Will the madness ever end?
LOL Dixie...I know! My life has been crazy busy! I'm flyin' 4 day trips, which have been great except that when I get home after being gone for so long I have million things to do! Such is life, right?!
Work has been wonderful. I've gotten to fly over Mount Rushmore quite a few times and the other day I was able to get a decent picture from the plane considering that I was at 10,000 + ... If you've never been there in person it's an amazing sight to see. I visited there about a year ago and did all the tourist'y' stuff with some friends so it was really neat to get a different perspective on it this time!

I've also gotten to fly to Long Beach, CA where the weather has been beautiful! I was wishing we could just stay there for our overnight but unfortunately it's just a turn.

My crew has been super fun too this month, which always makes work worth while...

Last weekend I went back to TX on my days off to visit my sissie, D (her boyfriend...soon to be fiance!) and my nephew for a couple days. I miss them so much! You would never know that we were twins would you?

It was so good to see them. I can't believe how big J (my nephew) is! It had been almost 8 months since I had seen him last...he's growing up way too fast!

I also got to see my dad and stepmom in TX...they drove up from Montgomery to visit with us. We went and ate at Joe's Crab Shack for D's birthday and had a blast. They made him cluck around the entire restaurant like a bird (with a cone cup in his mouth as a beak and to-go boxes to flap around as wings) as they sang happy birthday to him which embarrassed him to death! It was so funny to watch though! All in all, he was a good sport!

And this I'm still laughing about...we had all finished eating at Joe's and were just sitting around talking and my dad asks me to go get him a toothpick. I was smoking at the time so I told him to hold on a moment and I would as soon as I finished my cigarette. Not one min. later I look over and my dad is picking his teeth with the shrimp skewer from our dinner plate! You know your a redneck if....SERIOUSLY! I was laughing so hard I couldn't even scold him! We took a picture of me mocking him before I finally got up to get him a real toothpick...he cracks me up!

Well, I'm leaving again tomorrow to work my last 4 day trip of the month. Next month I was awarded 2 day trips, back to back, which will start the following week. There pretty good trips with Chicago and Kalispell overnights...both of which I like. Hope ya'll are doing well and keeping busy, but not too busy (like me!)

I leave again tomorrow morning for another 4 day trip and then as soon as I get back on Wednesday, I'm hopping a flight back to good ole' Texas to see my sister, my nephew and my dad and stepmom. I'm really excited, especially to see my sister and nephew, because it's been about 8 months or so since I've gotten to see them. I was supposed to go last month but as usual...my schedule and her schedule got too busy and it didn't quite work out. I'll be sure to bring back lots of pictures...sissie says that I won't believe how big J (my nephew) is getting. She says he's talking up a storm...he's even learned to count to 3 in Spanish! :)
