Where are your manners?
Just a little word of advice to my fellow travelers...
If your sitting in the exit row of my aircraft, you must be willing and able to assist me in the event of an emergency. One of the ways that you would do this is by listening to my instructions. That being said...If you can't keep your mouth shut for 3 min. while I give my important safety briefing to the plane, how can I be assured your going to pay attention and listen to me in an evacuation? I don't give a damn if your a bajillion mile flier and you've heard the announcement a bajillion times...maybe others around you haven't!!! And if not for that reason...it's common courtesy!!! Where are your manners???
Ok...rant done.

I totally agree!! Some people can be so RUDE when you brief them!! These days I just tell them "sorry, you were not paying attention so now I have to move you" (and out them near the toilet!! Aren't I bad?!) :p
I'm an FA too...and I usually begin a briefing with..."I know you're here for the legroom but these seats have a responsibility attached to them..."
And I really don't want to hear that they "know the drill."
Sorry. FAA requires me to say this, champ.
Let's just be honest right from the get-go, you know?
