Merry Christmas everyone! I hope ya'll are having a wonderful holiday season! I was off work yesterday and I don't go back until Tuesday morning which is so very nice! Sorry I haven't posted in a few days but this last week was very hectic! I worked Tuesday through Friday and it was crazy to say the least...it never fails...traveling during Christmas week is stressful. We had cancellations, delays, and flyers who were way too grumpy and tired and had too many carry on bags! I obviously made it through the 4 days in one piece but I thought I was going to just kill over once I was done on Friday night. Amongst all the chaos that normally comes along with this job during the holidays, Friday morning I had an interview for a promotion. To be honest, I have no clue how I did (I didn't get home Thurs. night until 12:30am because we were delayed which means I got about 5 hours of sleep before I had to get up to go to the interview) but I'm saying a little prayer because I really want this job. I don't think I'll find out anything until mid-January so keep your fingers crossed!
Yesterday, Christmas Eve, was wonderful. Jon had to work today so he, Holly and I all decided to celebrate Christmas yesterday. I woke up and went to Starbucks (a little tradition of mine) and then came home and we all opened presents. I got lots of goodies from my parents but my favorite gift had to be the digital camera I got from Jon and Holly. It's an Olympus FE-110 ...it's my first digital camera (I've been borrowing theirs) so I'm pretty excited! Jon got a PlayStation 2 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas so we played with that for a while after we were done. Bella would perk up everytime she heard the shots fired from a drive by...so funny!

After loungin' around for a while, we all got cleaned up and drove to Jon's Aunt and Uncle's house about 1 hour or so away. We spent all afternoon and evening there and had a blast. I ate way too much food yesterday (Aunt Kathy made chili and homeade toffee)...it was all worth it though! We got home yesterday evening around 10pm and I was whooped...needless to say I slept like a baby last night! Here's a shot I took at Uncle Bob and Aunt Kathy's house in front of their giant tree with tons of presents (that's Jon and Holly, the couple I live with, in the picture too)...

All in all, yesterday was a wonderful day. For those of you back in Texas, just thought I'd let you know that our high today is 66 degrees! Yesterday it was 63 degrees. It is absolutely beautiful here...I wouldn't trade it for anything! I don't really have plans for today...Jon's flying and I think Holly is going to spend some time with some elderly people she works with who don't have family around. I've thought about maybe making some cookies and taking them up to the airport for all the customer service agents, rampers and flight crew that have to work today...I don't know...we'll see. Right now just the thought of lounging around in my pj's and drinking hot chocolate and peppermint shnapps sounds wonderful...we'll see how motivated I am to do anything after that! Once again, Merry Christmas to everyone and I hope you have a blessed day!
